wool from Ireland & Scotland
I had bought a stock of wool from a woollen mill beside the Nenagh river, in a disused flour mill in Ballyartella, North Tipperary, Ireland years ago.
That river still drives the water turbine from which Hanley’s woollen mill generates their own electricity, so that all their energy is from renewable sources.

I am now using up my stock to make fantastic facemasks. Wool, like cotton and silk is good for making masks, but must be washed by hand in soapy water and not in the washing machine.
I now just put my woollen masks aside for 72 ours after usage and then I don’t have to even wash them.
I also have got a lovely bit of wool from the Isle of Bute from Scotland in a very nice purple.
